I am happy to finally share some photos from Sarah and Brendan’s wedding in Prescott, Arizona! I had never been to Prescott prior to the wedding and am definitely a fan – this little city is so beautiful!
My husband Kevin, second shooter Jamie, and I arrived in Prescott a couple of hours earlier than planned (we all know how punctual I am and would rather err on the side of caution), and decided to grab a quick lunch to fuel our bodies since we needed all our energy to give Sarah and Brendan beautiful photos to document their special day.
We showed up to Sarah’s grandparents’ home and was just awestruck by its location and beauty...it is nestled in natural rocky formations. My mind was racing with excitement over all the areas I will be using for portraits!
As of Saturday at 3:30pm, they have begun one of the greatest adventures of their life! I am so excited for them and for their future! The love that they share is so evident and genuine.
Sarah is so sweet and can you believe that although we’ve communicated about her wedding for well over a year, we only met in person the day of her wedding! However, we hit it off right away and there was no awkwardness! Brendan is such a doting husband and it was evident that he adored Sarah…so sweet to witness! When Sarah asked me if we would like to use one of her grandparents' vintage Jaguars for portraits, I was over the moon! I mean, come on - how often will I get to use vintage cars for photo sessions?! (It was hard to choose just one, but I ended up picking the yellow Jaguar!)
Family…friends…love…intimacy…joy. That seemed to be the theme of their day. Through the ceremony, the toasts, the reception, and sparkler exit, we felt the love throughout.
Sarah and Brendan, what an honor it was to be the ones capturing your day. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this special season of your life!
