WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE
I offer sessions on location at a place (or places) of your choosing, and have a list of beautiful locations that I’m happy to recommend. I love conducting photos sessions at lush parks, especially during the two hours before sunset, known as the “golden hour” to photographers.
Your photo session includes my travel time anywhere in the Phoenix Metro area. If you’d like to go somewhere outside the city, I’m up for the adventure. I love traveling and take vacations each year just to get a taste of places beyond our lovely Arizona, so don't hesitate to let me know if you’d like a destination photo session.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE PHOTO SESSION
Wear what is comfortable for you. I encourage everyone to dress up and would love to incorporate a theme into your photo session - I am open to ideas!
There are so many elements associated with choosing outfits for a photo session. Once you’ve booked a session with me, I am happy to send you a detailed guide of ways to style your session so that we can make your experience as unique and fun as possible.
HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION

Please note that in order to lock in a session date and time, I require a 50% non-refundable retainer along with a signed contract and model release. The remainder of your payment will be due on or before your session date.
Maternity: Sessions should be held between the 30th and 36th week of your pregnancy. However, since women experience pregnancies differently, we can conduct your photo session at any time you’re comfortable and ready.
Newborn: Sessions should be held within the first 2-3 weeks after your baby’s birth in order to maximize on your newborn’s “willingness” to pose.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE
As long as you provide sufficient advance warning, I will make every effort to accommodate your change; however, please understand that once you have been added to the calendar, the designated time slot prevents me from scheduling other clients. It may be difficult for me to fill that time slot with another session without sufficient notice; therefore, please make every effort to stick to your original session date and time.
WHAT IF WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE FOR WEATHER REASONS
Cloudy or even slightly rainy days make for some of the most beautiful photographs. Conversely, a bright sunny day is often not optimal shooting weather because you’ll be squinting and get completely washed out by the sun.
CAN I BRING FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO WATCH
Yes, if you are comfortable with it. I encourage doing anything that helps to make you feel more comfortable and relaxed during our session.
WHAT KIND OF EDITING DO YOU DO TO OUR IMAGES
I like to keep my images as natural as possible. With that said, in order to make the portraits print ready, I use software to adjust exposure, crop, and conduct other minor retouching actions. Major edits, such as slimming and removing extensive blemishes, require an additional fee.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOGRAPHS
You can expect to receive a link and password to your online gallery within 2-4 weeks after your session. From there, you will be able to select which image you want and place them into your ordering gallery.
You may provide the password to your online gallery to anyone with whom you would like to share your images. Via the gallery, family and friends will be able to order prints, photo books, and other items.
WHAT RIGHTS WILL I HAVE TO THE IMAGES
Depending on the package, you will receive photos in a downloadable, digital format. For these downloadable photos ONLY, you will receive a print release granting limited rights to print or reproduce them for personal, non-commercial use. In other words, you will have permission to print the images anywhere you like and at any time. All copyrights, commercial printing rights, distribution rights, and other rights will be retained solely by Jade Min Photography LLC.
As for the other images in your gallery, this print release will not apply. You will only be able to order prints of those images through your gallery. You do, however, have the option to purchase digital download versions of any and all images in your gallery. (Digital downloads always come with a print release.)
WHY SHOULD I ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU
Unfortunately, not all printers are not created equal. It can be difficult for lower-quality printers to accurately replicate the colors you see on a computer screen. The labs that I’ve chosen to work with offer only the highest quality prints and I’ve calibrated my equipment to match those labs. This means the color, exposure, and sharpness of the prints you order through me will closely match the images themselves.
HOW LONG WILL MY GALLERY BE AVAILABLE
Your ordering gallery will remain online for 2 months. If your gallery expires and you need additional time, it can be made available again; however, you may be subject to an additional fee. The reason for this is that I pay for server storage, and there are costs associated with hosting images.
YOU TOOK SO MANY PHOTOS! DO I GET THEM ALL?
I take a lot of images in order to capture that perfect moment. Unfortunately you will not get every image because not all will be representative of the end product I want to present to you (for example, closed eyes). I will choose the best of the images from our photo session, which will be professionally edited and delivered to your online gallery.
WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
I currently accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
